I am from Southern California, born in Santa Monica and raised in Redondo Beach. I have fantastic memories of growing up in a beach community. After graduating from high school I moved to Hawaii. Then my mother developed cancer. I came back to Redondo Beach and helped take care of her. My first career was in health as an X-ray technician. I married a restaurant manager for Charthouse and we moved various places for his career: Ventura, California, Monterrey, California (we were there for the big earthquake of 1989), Annapolis, Maryland, Boca Raton, Florida, Half Moon Bay, California, Lake Tahoe, Nevada. We have two boys, Harrison born in Ojai, California and Garrett born in Monterrey, California. As a family we got to experience so many different cultures and activities without having to leave the United States. The kids were on ski teams in Tahoe, fishing in Florida, pumpkin picking in Half Moon Bay, crabbing in Maryland, and checking out the Smithsonian and other attractions in D.C. Moving to Lake Tahoe involved a life change. Not sure of where to start, I wanted to use my love of travel with the Hyatt Vacation Club in Tahoe. I loved the concept and excelled in resort sales, resulting in top sales person my first year. The next year I was offered a management position and our resort was the best in sales volume and net productivity in the company. I was then recognized and promoted to Project Director in Breckenridge, Colorado in their Luxury Premier fractional division. The benefits of living in Colorado were skiing powder and hiking majestic mountains. The resort sold out, then I was transferred to Sedona in 2002. I will never forget driving in on Hwy 179 and rounding the curve when you first see Bell Rock. I was just like all the other first time visitors I had to get out and take pictures! I bought a house immediately on a golf course and just fell in love with the area. Then came the recession of 2009 and down went the industry. I moved to Scottsdale and entered the car business. I was promoted to finance, then promoted to sales manager for Fiat of Scottsdale. It was exciting being involved with their reintroduction of the Fiat 500 into the American market after a 27 year absence. But, I still had my home here and missed the area. I moved back to my house and was fortunate to be able to use my prior Hyatt real estate knowledge, combined with my love for this area into residential real estate sales. Living here has the best assortment of activities: golf, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, wine and food along with my 2 boys within driving distance (Garrett is in San Diego and pursuing fire prevention and Harrison is in San Francisco bartending and traveling). In 2015 I was in the top 50 of all Realtors in Sedona/Verde Valley area with 5 million in sales and in the top 10 in Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty Sedona office. Helping people buy and sell real estate with Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty in this incredibly beautiful land is a life reward. I would appreciate the opportunity to work with you and make your dreams to live in this area a reality.
